Everyone wants to snack on something, right? Well, popcorn is my go-to! I experiment with it all of the time. Of course, the ultimate is the pureness of basics: Popcorn, salt and butter. Sometimes, I like to add a little zest to my crunch depending, like everything in my life, on what mood I’m in! Here’s something to get us in the mood for our imaginary trip to Italy for the day:

  • 1 heaping tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of unpopped popcorn
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • finely chopped fresh rosemary or dried (grind with a mortar & pestle)
  • grated parmesan or romano OR our ‘cheese powder’ that my daughter & I use: nutritional yeast (don’t knock it ’til you try it!)

Make your popcorn, then sprinkle the rest of the ingredients and with a big spoon gently toss it all together. Always eye the amounts and adjust to YOUR tastes ~ if you need or want more/less of something DO it!
